Our Services

Our Projects

Our mission is to improve academic achievement for students in the North Little Rock schools through community support. We meet this goal through the following projects.

Academic Signing Day

Since the Spring of 2006, the NLRPEF has hosted an Academic Signing Day in May. At this event graduating high school seniors with commendable GPAs and receiving large scholarships are recognized.

"Intro to Spanish" Pilot Project

The goal of this project is to provide the elementary students of NLRSD the opportunity to learn Spanish and equip those students with the resources needed to graduate.

"Homegrown" Professional Development

This project serves as an opportunity for the teachers who receive Innovative Teaching Grants to share their ideas with other teachers in the district.

Innovative Teaching Grants

NLRPEF has supported a variety of learning initiatives to enhance classroom instruction. These grants have provided over $185,000 in additional funds to classroom teachers of NLRSD.
